Blink 182 Twitter Party

ShopRadioCast are holding a Twitter party to celebrate releasing Blink 182's Take Off Your Pants And Jacket tonight at 9pm EST. 

To celebrate their release of Blink 182’s ‘Take Off Your Pants and Jacket’, ShopRadioCast will be hosting a #TOYPAJ Twitter Party this evening, Monday March 4th, at 9pm est that will include exclusive #TOYPAJ announcements, giveaways and a Q&A session allowing media outlets and customers to submit questions about the project directly to ShopRadioCast.

ShopRadioCast’s vinyl release of Blink 182's "Take Off Your Pants and Jacket" LP with three bonus 7" is currently in the final production stages.  SRC anticipates these to be ready in April however, a release date of May 7, 2013 has been set to avoid running into any delays from Record Store Day pressings. The first pressing will be limited to a total of 2,500 copies and will include a never before released foreword written by Mark Hoppus.

- Triple Panel Gatefold jacket with 7" Inserts
- Each 7" housed in a glue pocket jacket with a full color CMYK insert
- LP is housed in a full color Inner Sleeve
- First pressing, limited to 2,500 include Mark Hoppus Foreword
- First pressing LP is pressed 180 Gram Black and includes a yellow, green and red 7".

  I've  decided to create a new genre. I call it “beardcore”. Scene heads generally make confessional folk music recorded alone in some isolated building (cabin, hut, beach house etc.) with only acoustic guitars, banjos and whatnot for company. Track-By-Track: Forest Life EP by McCafferty

McCafferty 's recent EP, Forest Life, is one of The Alternative Tone's favourite releases so far this year. I caught up with Nick to get a track-by-track on the EP, in order to give us more insight into McCafferty's fabulous imagery and lyrical themes.  Jeff    There was a girl I was friends with in high school named Becky and she was in a relationship with this guy from freshman year until last summer, when their relationship fell apart she told me it happened really fast, that's why the song is so short. I wanted to explore the aspect of a relationship with so much feeling that just ends abruptly and the emptiness that you feel after.
